Samuel O. Harris, age 75, of Lucedale died Thursday, April 14, 2016 at Providence Hospital of
Mobile, AL. Mr. Harris was born July 2, 1940 in McNeill, MS. He is the son of the late H. I. and
the late Leona (King) Harris Sr. He married Ouida Marie Carriere on January 18, 1969.

He served in the U. S. Navy during the Vietnam War from 12/28/1961 to 4/20/1966. He was
employed as a Paramedical Medical Safety.

He is survived by his wife: Ouida Marie (Carriere) Harris, one daughter: Tara (Drake) Eubanks
and one son: Sean (Stephanie) Harris; He also has three grandchildren. granddaughter, Tori
Harris; granddaughter, Claire Eubanks; granddaughter, Caroline Eubanks

Predeceased by his brother, H. I. Harris Jr., sister, Hilda Nelson, brother, Mike Harris, sister,
Draxa Sones, brother, Carmin Strain, sister, Jewell Ellis, sister, Audis Elmore, sister, Avis Cotita

A memorial service will be held 1:00 pm on Friday, April 22 at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main
St., Lucedale, MS with Rev. Dewayne Long officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery,
Lucedale on Friday, April 22 at 2:00 pm.
