Sandy Ray Pitts, age 83, of Lucedale died Thursday, April 7, 2016 at Sparrows Hills Personal
Care of Lucedale, MS. Mr. Pitts was born February 26, 1933 in Waynesboro, MS. He is the son
of the late Sandy and the late Lottie (Ivey) Pitts. He married Joyce Ann Browning on March 17,
1957. He was predeceased by his wife, Joyce Ann Browning Pitts on April 2, 2010.
He served his country in the U. S. Army. He was a retired Carpenter.
Mr. Pitts was a member of Rocky Creek Baptist Church.
He is survived by one son: Donald Wayne McIntosh; two sisters: Sandra Lynn, Jeanette Carrico;
He also has seven grandchildren. Granddaughter, Shilo Pitts; grandson, Garrett Pitts;
granddaughter, Kerri McIntosh; grandson, Donnie McIntosh; grandson, Clay Parker; grandson,
Jake Parker; grandson, Adam Parker.

The funeral will be held 3:00 pm on Saturday, April 9 at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St.,
Lucedale, MS with Rev. Greg Barker officiating. Burial will be in Rocky Creek Cemetery,
Lucedale.
Calling hours will be Saturday, April 9 from 1:00pm-3:00pm at Sigler Funeral Home.
