Sharon Kay Dunton, age 76, of Lucedale passed away Monday, February 13, 2023 at Gulfport Memorial Hospital of Gulfport, MS. Mrs. Dunton was born February 7, 1947 in Mobile, AL. She is the daughter of the late Ray Vern and the late Cynthia (Spears) Beard.

She retired from Wayne Lee's as a night shift manager.

She is survived by daughter: Cindy (Tim) Lawrence of Wiggins, MS and son: Charles (Kerri) Dunton of Hurley, MS; brother: Darryl (Rachel) Beard; nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren.

Predeceased by her brother, John Devon Beard, and one great grandchild.

The funeral will be held 3:00 pm on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS.  Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery, Lucedale, MS.

Calling hours will be Saturday, February 18, 2023 from 1:30-3:00pm at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS.
