Shirley Carlisle, age 76, of Lucedale died Friday, January 1, 2021 at Providence Hospital of Mobile, AL. Mrs. Carlisle was born May 20, 1944 in Lucedale, MS. She is the daughter of the late J. K. Welford and the late Sudie (Hayes) Welford. She married John Robert Carlisle on June 22, 1963. She was predeceased by her husband on September 15, 2018. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker.

She is survived by two sons: Steve (Angie) Carlisle and Tim (Tera) Carlisle, grandchild, Jason Carlisle; grandchild, Lawson (Collin) Erkhart; grandchild, Carrie Dickerson; grandchild, William Carlisle; grandchild, Madison Carlisle; Great grandchild, Brill Carlisle; Great grandchild, Ruby Carlisle; Great Grandchild, Alice Erkhart; Great Grandchild, Elliot Carlisle.

Predeceased by her sister, Betty West

The funeral will be held 3:00 pm on Monday, January 4, 2021 at The Bridge, 1255 Old Hwy 63, Lucedale, MS with Rev. Rob Hunt officiating. Burial will be in Rocky Creek Cemetery.

Calling hours will be Monday, January 4 from 2:00-3:00pm at The Bridge.
