Steve Hall Canode, Jr., age 48, of Lucedale, MS passed away Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at Providence Hospital of Mobile, AL. Mr. Canode was born July 12, 1973 in Mobile, AL. He is the son of Steve Hall Canode Sr. and Frances (Poston) Canode. He married Robin Lee on December 3, 2005 in Mobile, AL.

Steve graduated Murphy High School in Mobile, AL in 1991 and then attended the University of South Alabama, where he received his Medical Technology degree in 1995. He worked at the University Of South Alabama Medical Center for 21 years in the blood bank. Mr. Canode went back to school at Auburn University where he got a Doctorate of Pharmacy in 2016. Since graduation he has been a pharmacist at Walgreens in Mobile. He was a member of Phi Delta Chi Professional Pharmacy Fraternity.

He was an avid cyclist, pool player, loved wood working and loved planting every tree and shrub his wife could buy. He loved being a kitty daddy, though he would deny it. His Kittie Children are Cooper, Keely and Maggie.

He is survived by his wife: Robin Lee Canode, two daughters: Aislinn Canode and Emily Canode, and one son: Alexander Canode; one sister: Shelia (Mark) Jennings; half-sister, Stephanie Baker; parents, Steve & Frances Canode; mother-in-law, Kathryn Rustin Lee, in-laws, Sandy (Sherry) Sanford, Peggy (Tracy) George, Karen Sanford Ingle, Eric Lee, Nieces and Nephews

Preceded in death by: maternal grandparents, Frances Quinley Poston and Harvie Lee Poston, fraternal grandmother, Sibyl Hall Canode, father in law, Ronald Dennis Lee.

The funeral will be held 3:00 pm on Sunday, February 27, 2022 at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Lucedale, MS.

Calling hours will be Sunday, February 27, 2022 from 1:00pm-3:00pm at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS.
