Tanya M. Carter, age 41, of Lucedale died Saturday, September 24, 2016 at USA Medical of
Mobile, AL. Mrs. Carter was born October 30, 1974 in Laurel, MS. She is the daughter of
Sammie McLain and Myrtle (Creel) Pace. She married James Dale Carter on November 4,
2000 at Sevierville, TN
She was a Home Maker.
She is survived by her husband: James Dale Carter, three daughters: Hannah (Holden) Hilbun,
Lauren Hosey and Riley Carter, and two sons: Mason Hosey and Jackson Carter, father
Sammie McLain and mother Myrtle (Creel) Pace; two sisters: Melissa Alexander and Kathy
White, and three brothers: Sammie McLain Jr., Jerry Dossett and Terry Dossett,; grandson,
Noah Hilbun; grandson, Easton Hilbun.
The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Wednesday, September 28 at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248
Main St., Lucedale, MS with Rev. Michael Driggers officiating. Burial will be in Macedonia
Cemetery.
