Terry Lee Rackard, age 64, of Agricola community, passed away Thursday, July 28, 2022 at We Care Hospice of Moss Point, MS.  Mr. Rackard was born May 5, 1958 in Jacksonville, FL. He is the son of the late William Robert and the late Rachel (Lorene) Rackard.  He married Nell Rackard on November 12, 1989, who preceded him in death on May 9, 2021.

He was employed as a Security Police at the MS Department of Corrections.

He is survived by daughter, Charity (Johnathan) Hannah; son,  Destan (Stephanie) Rackard; sisters, Joan (Ray) Miller, Kathy Lee, Shirley (Johnny) Leggett; brothers: William (Charlotte) Rackard, Michael (Sherry) Rackard, Billy (Lori) Rackard, David (Jennifer) Rackard, Carl (Donna) Freeman, Earl (Diana) Freeman, Larry (Judi) Freeman; brother-in-law, Lecil (Alice) Freeman; grandchildren, Harvey Rackard, Anastasia Rackard, Phenix Rackard, Nova Rackard, Ayva Rackard, Christian Rackard, and Malachi Hannah; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by wife, Nell Rackard; parents, Robert (Leona) Rackard; sisters, Ann Pirkle, Jean Poores, Cheryl Compton, Leona Tennison, Sherry Freeman; brothers, Tommy Freeman, Billy Freeman, Terry Freeman; brother- in-law, Tony Tennison; in-laws, Winfred (Annie) Freeman.

The funeral will be held 10:00 am on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS with Rev. Hootie Maples officiating.  Burial will be in Freeman Family Cemetery, Lucedale, MS.
