Thomas Franklin "Tom" Bailey, age 82, of Lucedale passed away on Friday, October 29, 2021 at Saad Healthcare of Mobile, AL.  Mr. Bailey was born October 4, 1939 in Lucedale, MS.

He is the son of the late Benjamin F. and the late Bertha L (Byrd) Bailey.

He married Sidney Miller on August 26, 1962.

He served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War.  He was employed as an Airline Pilot.

Mr. Bailey was a member of the First Methodist Church of Lucedale, the American Legion and a UMS Master Gardener.

He is survived by his wife: Sidney "Sissy" Bailey, daughter: Sidney (Julio) Bailey Arellana of Miami, FL and son:  Brian (Karie) Bailey of Mobile, AL; He also has five grandchildren: Sidney Nicole(Jonathan) Ashley, Thomas Benjamin Bailey, Bryce Julian Arellana, Sarah E. (Seth) Conroy and, Grace F. (William) Walker.

The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS with Rev. Larry White officiating.  Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery, Lucedale, MS.
