Travis E. Williams, age 88, of Lucedale passed away Thursday, December 11, 2025. He is the son of the late James and the late Viola (Davis) Williams. Mr. Williams was born May 11, 1937 in Haleyville, AL. His family moved to mobile during the Second World War. He lived in Mobile until he went into the military in 1955. Travis served 20 years and retired from the United States Air Force. He moved to Lucedale in 2009 from Maryland. Travis was preceded in death by his loving wife, Nancy M. Ursitti Williams.

He is survived by his children: Johnny K. Williams, Steven E. Williams, and Sandra D. Nimmo; grandchildren: Johnny Williams, Bejamin Williams, Alexa Joy Williams, Travis Nimmo.

A funeral service was held at 11:00 am on Monday, December 15, 2025 at Bexley Baptist Church, 2242 Bexley Church Road, Lucedale, MS with Rev. Larry Havard officiating.  Burial was in Bexley Baptist Church Cemetery, Lucedale, MS.
