Virgie E. Holland, age 82, of Lucedale passed away Monday, June 2, 2025.  Mrs. Holland was born September 1, 1942 in Lucedale, MS. She is the daughter of the late Kennie and the late Allean Tanner Christian.

Mrs. Holland was a member of Midway Baptist Church. She was formerly employed with the original Coffee Pot Café, Mississippi Department of Corrections, and Walmart.

She is survived by daughter, Lisa (Lee) Havard; son, Gregory Yates; son, Matt Amick; 8 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild; brother, Ben (Cindy) Christian.

Predeceased by parents, Kennie and Allean Chirstian; son, William Yates; brother, Homer Christian; brother, Clint Christian.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, June 6 , 2025 at Midway Baptist Church, 2206 Howell Tanner Chapel Road, Lucedale, MS.  Burial will be in Howell Baptist Church Cemetery.

Calling hours will be Thursday, June 5, 2025 from 6:00pm -9:00pm and Friday, June 6, 2025 from 9:00am-10:00am at Midway Baptist Church, 2206 Howell Tanner Chapel Road Lucedale, MS.

Pallbearers will be Jonathan Yates, Aaron Yates, Lee Havard, Junior Tanner, Eddie Tanner, and Silas Amick.
