Walter Lee Moffett, age 69, of Lucedale passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at Providence Hospital of Mobile, AL.  Mr. Moffett was born September 18, 1955 in Mobile, AL. He is the son of the late Leo and the late Annie Jane Elder Moffett. He married Molisa Miller Moffett.

He served in the Merchant Marines and Navy. He was an avid fisherman and loved to read. He was a cabinet mason and upholster/woodworker.

He is survived by his wife, Molisa Moffett; daughter, Michelle Hinchley; son, Johnathan Moffett; son, Aaron (Dayla) Moffett; granddaughter, Angelica Moffett; sister, Nancy (Bill) HuiHui; twin sister, Wanda Moffett Scott; sister, Donna (Kevin) Beuk; uncle, Hollis Welford; cousins & friends, church family.

Predeceased by his brothers, Bruce Moffett and Charles Elder; brother-in-law, William HuiHui; aunt, Rosie Welford.

The funeral will be held at 12:00 pm on Sunday, October 13, 2024 at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS with Mr. Mark McLendon officiating.  Burial will be in Moffett Cemetery, Lucedale.
