William Milton Holland, Jr., age 87, of Lucedale died Thursday, January 28, 2016 at Mobile
Infirmary of Mobile, AL. Mr. Holland was born February 7, 1928 in Leakesville, MS. He is the
son of the late William Milton and the late Ola C. (Mills) Holland Sr. He married Janice Retha
Denmark on December 20, 1946 in Greene County, MS.
Mr. Holland was a member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church. He retired from
International Paper Company after 39 years, 7 months and 5 days of service.
He is survived by his wife: Janice Retha (Denmark) Holland, one daughter: Sharlotte (Elder
Ricky) Mitchell and three sons: Spencer (Linda) Holland, Elder Skip (Brenda) Holland, Scottie
(Wanda) Holland; 15 grandchildren 32 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren
Predeceased by his 4 Sisters, 3 Brothers
The funeral will be held 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 30 at Macedonia Missionary Baptist
Church, Brushy Creek Road, Lucedale, MS with Elder Skip Holland officiating. Burial will be in
Macedonia Cemetery, Lucedale on Saturday, January 30.
Calling hours will be Friday, January 29 from 5:00-8:00pm at Sigler Funeral Home, Lucedale,
MS and Saturday, January 30 from 1:00pm-2:00pm at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church.
